Cloud incident response company Mitiga Security Inc. today announced that Cisco Investments, the investment arm of Cisco Systems Inc., has made a strategic investment in the company to support significant market adoption among enterprises seeking modern security solutions for their cloud and software-as-a-service environments. Founded in 2019, Mitiga offers a cloud and SaaS incident platform called IR2 that performs continuous hunts for emerging attacks based on a cloud attack scenario library, a database dedicated to cloud and SaaS multi-vector hunts.
