Both Zscaler Inc. and Carbon Black Inc. have delivered their first post-initial public offering quarterly financial reports and while the results from both beat market estimates it was Zscaler’s stunning numbers that gained most of the attention.
For the quarter ending April 30, Zscaler reported total revenue was $49.2 million, an increase of 49 percent over the same quarter in 2017 bolstered by a 79 percent increase in calculated billings.
Non-GAAP loss from operations was $2.9 million, or 6 percent of total revenue, compared to $5 million year-on-year. Non-GAAP net was reported to be $2.6 million.
