As an author and co-author of several O’Reilly Books, an attendee of a couple of FOO Camps (Friends of O’Reilly), and someone who frequently writes stories based on what I learn at O’Reilly conferences, I consider myself a sympathetic hanger on to this community. Now that I’m shifting gears in my own approach to tech research through www.EarlyAdopter.com, I think it is time to share how I’ve made the most of O’Reilly conferences in the past and what I plan to do differently at Strata.
