Business spending to adopt and use AI in existing operations, and to deliver better products and services, is expected to drive 3.5% of global GDP by 2030, adding $19.9 trillion to the world economy, according to a new report from research firm IDC. AI spending by businesses alone is expected to reach $632 billion by 2028, IDC had estimated in an earlier study.
