APT lurked in HPE’s systems for over 6 months

Technology giant Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has revealed that a threat group it believes is tied to Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service had access to portions of its systems for more than six months. HPE believes notorious Russian espionage gang APT29 (also known as Cozy Bear, Midnight Blizzard and Nobelium) stole SharePoint and email files from its networks between May and December last year.
