Once crippled Kansas court system slowly emerges post cyberattack

Officials at Kansas’ judicial branch have disclosed that operations at its courts’ case management systems across all its counties will return online by the end of the week, two months following outages caused by an advanced foreign cyberattack, The Associated Press reports. While court systems enabling online marriage license applications and requests for abuse and human trafficking protections have already been restored, the judicial system is still working on resuming online operations of systems allowing public document access.
