The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) approved a compulsory process regarding investigations involving artificial intelligence (AI). AI has been used for fraudulent attacks including phishing and deepfakes.  The FTC will be able to issue civil investigative demands, similar to a subpoena, to companies offering AI services.
