The second point I’d make is to again reiterate that we have raised our serious concerns with the Chinese authorities, following what was, we regard, as unsafe and unprofessional interaction with the PLA Navy destroyer. I would again make the point that these events occurred within Japan’s EEZ [exclusive economic zone] and in international waters.
