Cisco AnyConnect SSL VPN Flaw Let Remote Attacker Launch DoS Attack

A vulnerability of medium severity, identified as CVE-2023-20042, with a CVSS score of 6.8, was found in the AnyConnect SSL VPN feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defence (FTD) Software.  This vulnerability could potentially enable an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. Software patches from Cisco have been made available to fix this issue.
