Industrial control system and operational technology cybersecurity firm Verve Industrial Protection is set to be acquired by major industrial technology provider Rockwell Automation following the signing of a definitive agreement, reports SecurityWeek. Such an acquisition, which is poised to be finalized by the first quarter of Rockwell’s 2024 fiscal year, would integrate Verve into the Lifecycle Services unit of Rockwell and would enable Rockwell to benefit from the managed OT/ICS security platform of Verve which enables not only vulnerability management, incident response, and configuration management, but also network segmentation, automation engineering, and system hardening.
