Officials at the City of Philadelphia have disclosed that data from an unspecified number of the city’s residents may have been compromised as a result of a breach of its email system, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Attackers may have infiltrated Philadelphia’s email system between May 25 and July 29, enabling access to accounts that included information, such as names, birthdates, Social Security numbers, and protected health information, as well as certain financial details, according to city officials.
