Attackers have been observed using the notorious Sorillus remote access trojan (RAT) and phishing attacks to exploit Google Firebase Hosting infrastructure. The novel threat was observed when eSentire’s Security Operations Center (SOC) detected suspicious code in a manufacturing customer’s network.
