Federal post-quantum cryptography readiness examined

Numerous federal agencies, including the Departments of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, and Commerce, reported that they were able to keep up with post-quantum cryptography requirements imposed by the Office of Management and Budget amid the imminent threat of quantum cyberattacks, according to FedScoop. However, no updates have been issued by the departments of Education and Agriculture, as well as the USAID even though agencies have been ordered by the OMB to submit an inventory of systems that may require post-quantum cryptography transition by May 4.
