IBM has added a new storage offering called Storage Defender, which the company says helps ensure data resilience for enterprises when they are confronted with threats such as ransomware, SDxCentral reports. Previously announced as a multi-tier preview offering in March, Storage Defender employs the data protection capabilities of Cohesity, an IBM partner, and the company’s own IBM Storage Protect backup technology.
