Scandinavian Airlines receives $3M demand to cease Anonymous Sudan DDoS attacks

Scandinavian Airlines has been demanded to pay $3 million by the Anonymous Sudan threat operation to put an end to distributed denial-of-service attacks against the airline’s websites that began in February, reports The Record, a news site by cybersecurity firm Recorded Future. Anonymous Sudan has claimed in a ransom note issued on its Telegram channel on May 29 that it has disrupted SAS and its services for over five days at that point.
