Nasdaq Backs France’s Stratumn’s $6.25M Investment In Blockchain & Data Security Space

Stratumn, a provider of network solutions securing processes between enterprises and their stakeholders through blockchain technology and advanced cryptography, is seeking to “double its size” after successful completion of a €7m (c.$6.25m) Series A funding raise led by Open CNP, the corporate venture arm of CNP Assurances and France’s leading personal insurer, with other investors including Otium Venture, Nasdaq and the Digital Currency Group. Stratumn, which was founded in Paris in 2015 by American entrepreneur Richard Caetano, Stephan Florquin and Sebastien Couture, helps companies “securing and streamlining regulatory and compliance procedures”.
