Bell Canada Breach Hits Nearly Two Million Customers

Bell Canada has become the latest big name brand to suffer a major data breach, after admitting that a hacker has illegally accessed personal info on as many as 1.9 million customers. Canada’s largest telco revealed that email addresses, customer names and/or telephone numbers were part of the haul, although the firm claimed there “is no indication” that financial, password or “other sensitive personal information” had been taken.
