Microsoft’s 2019 Surface Laptop 3 got a USB-C port but no Thunderbolt 3 technology, which allows faster data transfer and more display connections than USB-C. According to new leaked Microsoft videos posted by Windows watcher Walking Cat (via MSPoweruser), the reason Surface devices don’t have Thunderbolt is because it’s insecure.
