The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), a Department of Defense (DOD) agency tasked with providing secure telecommunications and IT support for the White House, US diplomats, and military troops, has disclosed a data breach. According to breach notification letters sent to DISA employees last week, the security incident took place between May and July 2019, when a DISA system “may have been compromised.”
