$245 Million Proposed for School Security in Detroit

Dearborn Public Schools in Detroit could add new security upgrades, such as security cameras, to its buildings if voters approve a $245 million bond issue, according to a news report. Board members discussed placing the measure on the November ballot to kick-start efforts aimed at improving security and other features in the district’s 30-plus structures.
