A German IT firm who works with some of the world’s largest companies was hacked and then blackmailed according to a report first published by Motherboard. The company hacked – Citycomp GmbH is a provider of multi-vendor maintenance and infrastructure services to a range of companies with a client list that includes Airbus SE, Volkswagen AG, Oracle Corp, Toshiba Corp., SAP AG and Porsche AG.
