Supreme Court refuses to hear Fiat Chrysler appeal in Jeep hacking case

The court’s action means that one of the first legal cases involving cybersecurity risks in cars will go to trial in October. The car company’s wish for the class action suit to go away is based on the fact that, as it’s pointed out, none of the cars belonging to (or leased by) the 200,000 class members actually got hacked.
